How many dives to complete the PADI Deep Diver Course?
The deep diver course in Bali is 3 to 4 dives depending on your certification and there is an e-learning knowledge that you will have to complete and master with your instructor.
During the dives you will apply the theory with some cool objects and exercises that will make you understand better how pressure and gases affects your body.
Usually we choose to dive in Nusa Penida, because of the conditions and also the possibilities to encounter Mantas and Molas that usually can be found deeper.

Briefly during the PADI Deep Diver Course in Bali you will do 4 dives in which you will learn several skills at a maximum depth of 40m.

Programme and Highlights of the PADI Deep Diver Course in Bali
The programme consist in 3 dives if you already done the PADI Deep Diver Adventure or 4 if you haven’t done it
Dive 1: You will learn several basics skills including comparing changes in color at the surface and at depth.
Dive 2: You will learn how to navigate at depth
Dive 3: You will learn how to perform an eight-minute simulated emergency decompression stop at 5 metres/15 feet
before surfacing, while breathing from an emergency air source for at least one minute of
the total time.
Dive 4: You will practise one more deep dive in which you will explore the deep area
As dive sites that we offer for the PADI Deep Diver Course in Bali we have either Tulamben in which you will dive around the famous World War II Wreck or Nusa Penida where you will have chances to see Mantas and Mola Molas
Prerequisites
- Be 15 years old
- PADI Adventure Diver or Advanced Open Water Diver (equivalent from other agencies is also ok)
Programme
- 1 day
- Pick you up at your accomodation around 7am
- 3 dives in Nusa Penida or Tulamben (we stay here one night)
- We complete knowledge review
- Trip back to your accomodation
